Auxitrol Weston designs and manufactures temperature sensors, speed probes, and pressure sensors for aero-derivative industrial gas turbines. Due to their evolving thermocouple and total air temperature sensor technologies, Auxitrol Weston is recognized as the global market leader.

Auxitrol Weston pressure sensors were an original part of GE LM engines. At the time, these sensors were under the brand Esterline. In addition, Auxitrol Weston developed alternatives for the original speed and temperature sensors. The alternatives are GE-approved, fully interchangeable, and mentioned in GE manuals and service bulletins.

VBR Turbine Partners is an Auxitrol Weston distributor.

Advanced sensors that improve power output

Auxitrol Weston advanced sensors are known for their calibrated Weston T4.8 thermocouples 1696M81P13. These parts enable the engine to run closer to manufacturer specifications and improve power output. These sensors measure the temperature of gas, fluids, and surfaces at an operating temperature range of -256°C to +780°C. Even after 20.000 hours of operation, the temperature sensors’ drift was minimal.
